The controversial Hindi movie
‘The dirty Picture’ was released on 4 December. A city court has directed
police to book heroine of the movie, Vidya Balan for indecent photographs on
the film posters and promos. The case is filed under relevant sections of Indian
Penal Code and also under Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act,
1986.
It is said that the movie, ‘The
dirty Picture’ is based on the life of former South Indian actress Silk Smitha.
Earlier, Silk Smiths’s brother moved to Hyderabad court as he felt that his
sister was portrayed in a wrong manner in the movie ‘The dirty Picture’.
