Today
is the birthday of great international famous filmmaker Mrinal Sen. Mrinal Sen
was born on 14 May 1923 at Faridpur, presently in Bangladesh. Mrinal Sen
studied at Scottish Church College and then in Calcutta University.
In
1955 Mrinal Sen made his first film Raatbhor. The film was a flop. Second film
of Mrinal Sen is Neel Akasher Niche and this film was praised by critics. Talent
and potentiality of Mrinal Sen was exposed in his third film Baishey Shravan.
