Bengali film industry is passing through a good phase. New talented directors are doing one after another good films and Hemlock Society is the new addition in the list of meaningful films in recent time. Hemlock Society is directed by Srijit Mukherjee and the film is based on a suicide workshop.
Bengali superstar Prasenjit Chatterjee feels that Hemlock Society is going to be a beginning of a new phase in Bengali films. Moonmoon Sen has praised the film Hemlock Society for its’ unique story.
Parambrata Chattopadhyay and Koel Mallick are the main leading characters in the film Hemlock Society. Parambrata has acted in many serious roles but Koel Mallick has acted in a different type of role for the first time in her acting career. Koel’s performance in Hemlock Society is highly praised and Koel has proved her acting ability in the film.
