Mithun Chakraborty and Roopa Ganguly have worked together in many films but not as a pair. Roopa Ganguly had a dream to work with Mithun where she will be opposite to the superstar of Bengali and Hindi films. This time the dream of Roopa Ganguly will be fulfilled as Roopa Ganguly and Mithun Chakraborty will work together in new Bengali film Buddhuram Dhol directed by Narayan Roy.
