Condition of Balasaheb Thackeray is very critical and presently he is on life support system. Uddhav Thackeray, son of Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray said "We are hopeful. You be hopeful. Let's pray." Uddhav's statement is sufficient to describe the present health condition of Balasaheb Thackeray. Everyone is expecting some miracle at this stage.
Uddhav Thackeray siad that Balasaheb have a strong will power and this power will help him to come out from this condition. Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek visited Balasaheb yesterday. Amitabh remembersed one incidence "When I fought for my life after 'Coolie' accident, he came to visit me in hospital, with a cartoon he had drawn - Yamraj defeated !" Amitabh Bachchan wished Balasaheb could draw that for himself.
It is learnt that all the officers from Mumbai police who were on leave have been called back on duty and police force in Mumbai and the entire state are on high alert. Crowd outside Matoshree is increasing like anything. Party workers are also gathering outside Matoshree, residence of Bal Thackeray and security has been stepped up.
