Few words about Bengali actor Parambrata Chottopadhyay


Parambrata Chottopadhyay is a well-known face in Bengali films. Since the release of Hindi film Kahaani, Parambrata is famous in not only a regional film star – he is considered as one of the most talented actors in India.

Date of birth of Parambrata Chottopadhyay is 27 July 1980. Param, as he is known to his nearest and dearest ones is grandson of legendary filmmaker Ritwik Ghatak. Parambrata Chatterjee started his career in TV serials and gradually shifted his focus from TV to films.

First film of Parambrata Chottopadhyay is Bombaiyer Bombete. Bengali film Bombaiyer Bombete is a Feluda series film directed by Sandip Ray. The film was released in 2003. Parambrata Chottopadhyay was Topse in the film Bombaiyer Bombete. In the same year, Parambrata Chottopadhyay acted in Bengali films Bhalo Theko and Hemanter Pakhi. Parambrata Chottopadhyay and Vidya Balan first acted together in film Bhalo Theko. Bhalo Theko was first film of Vidya Balan.

In 20122, Parambrata Chottopadhyay became director of film. Bengali film Jiyo kaka is first film of Parambrata Chottopadhyay as director.
