Rani Mukherjee worked in two films in 2012 – Aiyaa and Talaash after a gap of one year. The role in film Aiyas was a critical one and Rani had to work hard for the film but Aiyas was not a box office hit movie.

Karisma – 38 years old, mother of two with a troubled marriage acted in Vikram Bhatt's 3D thriller ‘Dangerous Ishq’. The film was not successful in box office but Karisma has started her second innings in Bollywood films.
