On February 1 2013, Bengali actress Koel Mallick will tie the knot with film producer Nishpal Singh Rane. Daughter of Ranjit Mallick will be Mrs. Rane from 1 February 2013 and the marriage of Koel and Nishpal is going to be the first high profile marriage in 2013 of West Bengal. Bengali film actor Dev will attend the marriage reception of Koel and Nishpal. Dev will attend the reception wearing new dress designed specially the marriage .
Jeet, another hero of Koel in Bengali films will attend the marriage along with his wife Mohana. Jeet will wear sherwani and Mohana will wear salwar kameej.
Hot heroine of Bengali films, Srabanti Chatterjee will attend the Koel – Nishpal marriage wearing saree. Red and blue are favourite colors of Srabanti and she may wear saree of any one of those colors.

1 February at 11.30 am: Koel and Nishpal reached at Gurdwara of Rashbehari avenue
Reporters and photographers were not allowed from both Mallick and Rane family due to security reason. Huge gathering was observed near the Gurdwara.
Koel and Nishpal came at the balcony of the Gurdwara. Bengali actors - Dev and Jeet were stading beside Koel and Nishpal. Music composer Jeet Ganguly was also present there.
Nearly 550 guests from both the families were invited for the Punjabi ritual marriage.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee reached Mallick family house at Tollygaunj before the bride and groom moved towards the Royal Calcutta Golg Club and blessed them.
1 February at the evening: Bengali ritual marriage at Royal Calcutta Golf Club. The invited guests were offered tea-coffee and snacks. A stage was decorated at the middle of the ground of Royal Calcutta Golf Club.
Koel and Nishpal were seen sitting at the stage after 9.00 pm.
The VIP guests present were Trinamool Congress leader Shovandeb Chottopadhyay, artist Shubhaprasanna, P.K.Banerjee, Moon Moon Sen, Bharat Debbarman, Raima Sen, Indrani Haldar, Biplab Chottopadhyay and many others.
At the mid night, entire Tollywood was present at Royal Calcutta Golf Club.
2 February evening: Rane family has arranged a reception at Taj Bengal hotel.
14 February evening: Joint reception from Mallick and Rane family at Royal Calcutta Golf Club.
