Entire film industry, specially Bengali film industry was rocked by nude scene of Paoli dam in film Chhatrak which is yet to be released in India. Paoli’s debut film in Hindi, Hate Story was much hyped film but the film flopped in box office. In Hate Story, Paoli Dam appeared in many raunchy intimate bed scenes but failed to make the film a hit movie.

Paoli dam is looking forward with a positive attitude in 2013. Bengali film Ajana Batasher Galpo is on the floors and Paoli Dam is in the film. Film Ajana Batasher Galpo is based on Joy Goswami’s novella Sharojantrokari. Director of the film is Anjan Das.

Film Ajana Batasher Galpo is about a lonely lady - Deepa who fails to convey her thoughts to others. Paoli Dam is playing the role of Deepa in Ajana Batasher Galpo. The role of Deepa in Ajana Batasher Galpo is a challenging one and Paoli is confident to portray the role successfully.

Paoli Dam is doing her second Hindi film - Ankur Arora Medical Case with Bhatt camp in Mumbai. After the film Ankur Arora Medical Case releases, Paoli will do another Hindi film with the Bhatts.

So far as Bengali films are concerned, Paoli Dam will act in Miss Shefali. Story of the film Miss Shefali is based on the life of cabaret queen Miss Shefali.
