Aparna Sen has completed her dream project –
Bengali film Goynar Baksho. The filmmaker is now waiting in a relaxed mood for
the release of the film which will be during the early part of April 2013.
Aparna Sen was trying to make the film
Goynar Baksho since the time she directed Paromitar Ekdin. After a long time
- 10-12 years, Aparna Sen ultimately
complete the film. The film revolves arround three women of different
generations. With the change of time, the three lady changes but one thing is
common for all of them which is a box of
jewellery – Goynar Baksho.
Like every Aparna Sen films, the upcoming film Goynar Baksho
has some social message. The film explores a womans relation to her body, her relation to her
jewellery, a womans thinking in the changing economic conditions of the
society. Goynar Baksho is a feminist film.
Aparna Sen is very hopeful about her latest film and she is satisfied
with the performance of Moushumi Chatterjee, Konkona Sen Sharma and Srabanti
Chatterjee.
