Veteran actor Pran
Saheb has been honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke award for lifetime
achievement. Pran got the award for his contribution in Hindi films. Pran,
whose actual name is Pran Kishen Sikand has worked in more than 350 films in his
glorious Hindi film career. Pran made his debut in film industry with a Punjabi
film ‘Yamla Jat’ in 1945.
Pran Saheb with a unique voice, style of delivering dialogues and
specially his quail song sequences will be remembered.
