Senior Congress leader
Digvijaya Singh announced through social networking site Twitter on Wednesday
that he has relationship with a woman journalist and TV anchor Amrita Rai and
they are planning to get married very soon. Digvijaya Singh’s wife passed away last
year after prolonged illness and Amrita Rai and her husband have already filed
a mutual consent divorce case. Digvijaya Singh is former chief minister of
Madhya Pradesh and his age is 67 years. Amrita Rai is in her early 40s.
Amrita Rai has also
tweeted that "I have separated from my husband and we have filed a mutual
consent divorce papers. After which I have decided to marry with Digvijaya
Singh."
Digvijaya Singh said “I have no hesitation in accepting my
relationship with Amrita Rai. She and her husband have already filed a mutual
consent divorce case.”
Lok Sabha Election 2014 is
going on and let’s see how BJP and Congress react on the issue.
