office. The industry needs fresh blood. So far as Bengali actresses are
concerned, Rituparna Sengupta is gradually moving towards character roles

acted in seven films. Mimi started her acting career with TV serial Champion
and she became famous during her second TV serial Gaaner Oparey. Mimi
Chakraborty has already worked with many famous filmmakers- even with late
Rituparno Ghosh. The other directors with whom Mimi Chakraborty has worked are
Sudeshna Roy, Abhijit Guha, Raj Chakraborty, Ravi Kinnagi, Birsa Dasgupta and
Kaushik Ganguly. The latest released film of Mimi Chakraborty is Golpo Holeo
Shotti.
