Famous Tamil filmmaker K. Balachander died on 23 December, Tuesday. The aged filmmaker was admitted to Cauvery Hospital in Chennai few days back with urinary infection and other age-related ailments.
K. Balachander was responding well to the treatment but on Tuesday morning his condition deteriorated.
K. Balachander has over 150 films to his credit and among these films few of the memorable are "Aval Ora Thodar Kathai", "Avargal", "Varumayin Niram Sigappu" and "47 Natkal".
Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, Saritha and Prakash Raj will remain grateful to K. Balachander as this man was the main architect behind their success.
