A politician has been arrested and model-cum-television actress Debolina Bhattacharya interrogated and detained by Mumbai Police following the mysterious murder of a diamantaire, Rajeshwar Udani.
The politician, Sachin Pawar, was said to be closely acquainted with the victim. He was earlier with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Rajeshwar Udani was reported missing from his office from November 28. The police had registered a missing case and launched a search for him. His mobile was tracked in Rabale, Navi Mumbai, before it lost signal. Finally Rajeshwar Udani’s body was recovered in the forests of adjoining Raigad district.

Dancer-model Debolina Bhattacharya, 28, is also an award-winning actress seen in several TV serials notably as Gopi Bahu in the popular “Saath Nibhana Sathiya” besides reality shows like Dance India Dance and Bigg Boss.
Debolina is originally from Assam and completed her education there. Debolina is a Commerce graduate and started acting in theater from 6th standard. Debolina has completed Jewelry Designing course from Delhi Fashion School. Debolina Bhattacharya is single.
