Model turned actress
Lisa Ray has planned her mariage on 20 October. 20 October is the beginning of
Durga Puja 2012. The date of marriage and the beginning of Durga Puja is not
coincidental, it is planned with keeping in mind that the beginning day of
Durga Puja is considered as one of the most auspicious date for Bengalis.
Lisa Ray was born on 4
April 1972 to a Bengali Hindu father and a Polish mother. In April 2010 Lisa
Ray recovered fully from dreaded disease cancer following a stem cell
transplant.
Lisa Ray will tie the knot with banking
executive Jason Dehni and the wedding ceremony will be at Napa Valley. In the
wedding both the Indian and Lebanese traditions will be followed. Lisa Ray’s wedding
dress will be designed by famous designer Wendell Rodricks. Till now it is planned that after marriage
the couple will go to the Bora Bora island for their honeymoon.
