Story of the film SOS Kolkata

The story is about a suspected terrorist attack, where Yash and Nusrat play anti-terrorism officers. Mimi plays Yash’s wife. Producer Ena Saha plays a bubbly girl, Angel. As the story progresses, her brave personality is revealed to the audiences. The film, produced by Jarek Entertainment, tries to show characters fighting uncertainties just like people are struggling to survive this pandemic.

Dev and Jisshu together in next film of Raja Chanda

Raja Chanda’s upcoming film is a commercial flick with number of Tollywood stars like Dev, Jisshu, Ankush, Nusrat Jahan, Mimi Chakraborty, Koushani Mukherjee, Sayantika Banerjee and Rudranil Ghosh working together.

Plot of the untitled film is based on three couples and the misunderstandings between them. The script is written by NK Salil.

Jisshu and Mimi are husband wife in the film where Jisshu is a businessman. Dev is pairing up with Sayantika, Ankush with Koushani and Nusrat related to all the couples.

Recently the mahurat of the film was held and shooting will start from 2 May this year.

Bengali film Zulfikar – story cast and crew of the movie

Nushrat Jahan and Dev – new pair in upcoming Bengali film

Director Rajib Biswas is this time trying on a new pair – Dev and Nushrat Jahan. Srabanti Chatterjee and RajibBiswas are separated now, so Rajib has to search a new heroine for his films. Dev is playing the lead in the upcoming film of Rajib and the buzz is that Nushrat Jahan will be playing his ladylove.

The film is based on a love story and the romance blooms during a journey. Rajib Biswas said: "In Khoka420, Nusrat was part of the cast, but the lead pair was Dev and Subhashree. But she'll be playing the lead in my next film, which is about how Dev and she strike up a friendship after both miss a train to Siliguri and travel together to their destination. That's where the story takes a turn."

Shooting of the film will start on 8 September and music director of the film is Jeet Gannguli.

Box office report of Mishar Rahasya - Khiladi – Rongbaaz

 All the above three Bengali films - Mishar Rahasya, Khiladi and Rongbaaz were released on 11 November – Saptami of Durga Puja 2013. Bengali superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee is in the main role of film Mishar Rahasya while Dev and Koel Mallick are in the leading roles of action packed film Rongbaaz. Ankush Hazra and Nushrat Jahan paired in the third film Khiladi.

Bengali film audiences and film critics were eagerly waiting to see the box office response of the film Rongbaaz as a fight between Dev and Jeet is always in the news. The latest release of Jeet – Boss is a hit film. Subhashree ganguly was paired with Jeet in Boss. Dev’s Rongbaaz is a answer to Jeet’s Boos. Box office collection of Rongbaaz in the first week is almost Rs. 3 crores. Next week’s 100% booking is completed. The film will do well for several more weeks. Rongbaaz has broken the records of Paglu and Challenge.This is the second super hit film of Dev in 2013.

In Mishar Rahasya, Prosenjit Chatterjee has proved again that he is still the number one hero in Bengali films. Mishar Rahasya is doing fantastic business in Kolkata and like Rongbaaz, box office collection of Mishar Rahasya in the first week is almost Rs. 3 crores. Next week’s 100% booking for the film Mishar Rahasya is completed. The film will dominate the box office for several coming weeks as there is no release of any big budget Hindi film in the coming weeks.

Khiladi is also doing good business in box office although this film is can not be compared with the above two high profile films.

Khiladi is an upcoming Bengali film of Ankush Hazra and Nushrat Jahan. Plot of the film Khiladi is based on Durga Puja of a Zaminder family and the film will be released on the first day of Durga Puja 2013.

The film is based on a ex-Zaminder family. Aditya Narayan Choudhury is the head of the family. Zaminder system is no more in India but the family still maintains the status and ego. Like most of the Zaminder family, Durga Puja was celebrated in Choudhury family but since last 25 years the family has stopped the festival in their house. The reason is that sister of Aditya Narayan, Saraswati married a Muslim boy-  Mahasin Khan 25 years ago. Aditya Narayan cut off every relationship with her beloved sister. The family faced many unwanted situations during the last 25 years and the pundits say that they need to perform pujas. An young purohit named Krishna starts performing pujas in the family and he sais that the family should perform Durga Puja again. Krishna is the son of Saraswati and Mahasin. His actual name is Suleman Khan. Krishna wants her mother’s re-entry in the family again. Krishna falls in love with Puja who is an orphan girl and got shelter in the Choudhury family,

The story is very convensional love story and the end can be predicted very easily.

Nushrat Jahan – the new star in Bengali film industry

After the release of Bengali film Shatru, Bengali film industry and Bengali film audiences discover a new heroine in Bengali films, Nushrat Jahan. This article is on Nushrat Jahan.

Nushrat Jahan is the Fair One Miss Kolkata in 2010 and her debut film is the new released Bengali film ‘Shatru’, produced by Himangshu Dhanuka and directed by Raj Chakraborty. Before the film ‘Shatru’ Nushrat was associated only with fashion world. On 11 June 2010, Nushrat Jahan was crowned ‘FairIne Miss Kolkata 2010’from thirteen finalists. Even at that time Nushrat had no plan to try her luck in Bengali film industry as an actress.  She got chance to work against one of the most successful actor of Bengali films in recent times, Jeet in the film ‘Shatru’ nd in her debut film, Nushrat has proved that she has the capability to stay in the film industry for long time and can work here.
