Vilasrao Deshmukh - Former Maharashtra chief
minister, Union minister for science and technology and father of Bollywood
actor Ritesh Deshmukh, died today at 1.40 pm due to liver and multiple organ
failure at a hospital in Chennai. Vilasrao Deshmukh was undergoing treatment at
the Global Health City hospital in Chennai since last Monday. The 67 years old
national politician was suffering from liver problems. Doctors in Chennai were
thinking about liver
transplant operation but the physical condition of Vilasrao Deshkukh did not
permit it.
Vilasrao Deshkukh’s wife and his two sons were present at the
hospital when the end came.
