Bollywood actress Vidya Balan and 'Life of Pi' director Ang Lee are in the nine member jury in 66th Cannes Film Festival. Hollywood director Steven Spielberg is the head of the juries. Vidya Balan is one of the best actresses in Bollywood films of recent times and this prestigious post is a new feather in the crown of the powerful actress in Hindi films. The other jury members in 66th Cannes Film Festival are Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman, Oscar-winner Christophe Waltz, Japanese director Naomi Kawase, Scottish director Lynne Ramsay, French actor-director Daniel Auteuil and Romanian director Cristian Mungiu.
Another Indian actress Nandita Das is also in the 66th Cannes Film Festival as jury for short films. The festival will open on 15 May.
