Divorce of Bengali hot actress Srabanti Chatterjee and her director husband Rajib Biswas is almost finalized – it is
just a matter of time now. Srabanti Chatterjee was married to Rajib Biswas at
an early age of 15 years and they were together for 11 years. Srabanti and
Rajib have a son. Both Rajib and Srabanti have issued their individual
statements that they want divorce. What leads to take such decision? Are they
not loyal to each other? Srabanti is now a front liner heroine in Bengali
films, specially after she acted in Aparna Sen’s Goynar Baksho. Srabanti has
achieved glamour, fame and money from film whereas Rajib is not a top grade
director. Is it the main reason for their separation?
There may be different causes for their
divorce. Rajib Biswas said that Srabanti has recently developed a romantic
relationship with someone from the industry although there is no such clue in
the air. Srabanti recently said in a Bengali popular film magazine that Rajib
used to assault her physically. Srabanti further told that she tolerated everything for long time for the shake of the family but now it is impossible for her to continue. Anyway we have to wait more to get the actual
causes of their divorce.
