Singer Pallab Kirtania making his debut as director in Bengali film Daughter of Clouds

Pallab Kirtania is a singer and he took prominent role during 2011 assembly election against the ruling party then is making his debut as director in Tollywood film Daughter of Clouds. Shooting of the film Daughter of Clouds has started.

Story of Daughter of Clouds

Daughter of Clouds is a political film with a love angle. The film Daughter of Clouds revolves around a mother-daughter relationship. The main characters of the film, Dipannita and her daughter, Hasnuhana reside in US. Hasnuhana is born and brought up in US and they are coming back to Kolkata during summer vacation. Hasnuhana has no emotional connection with Bengal and Bengali culture. Dipannita wants to get her daughter introduced to the cultural environment in which she had grown up. Hasnuhana is a rock band member in US and she is cynical of her mother's love for Rabindranath Tagore, Shakti Chattopadhyay and Sunil Ganguly. Dipannita tries hard to mould Hasnuhana in her own culture.
