Sudha Shivpuri died at 6 AM on 20 May due to multiple organ failureat a suburban hospital in Andheri, where she was admitted since two weeks. Sudha Shivpuri is survived by her son and a daughter.
Brief Biography of Sudha Shivpuri
Sudha Shivpuri was born on 14 July 1937. Sudha was brought up in Rajasthan. Sudha had to earn money to run the family since her school days as her father died and her mother was ill. In 1968, Sudha and Om Shivpuri got married and both started working in Delhi theatre. In 1974, Sudha and Om Shivpuri shifted to Mumbai as Om was getting more Hindi film offers. Sudha Shivpuri made her debut in Hindi films with Basu Chatterjee's film Swami in 1977. Afterwards Sudha worked in many Hindi films and few of them are Insaaf Ka Tarazu, Hamari Bahu Alka, Sawan Ko Aane Do, Sun Meri Laila, Burning Train, Vidhaata, Maya Memsaab and Pinjar. Sudha's last Hindi film is Pinjar and the year was 2003.
Sudha Shivpuri had acted in many TV serials like Aa Bail Mujhe Maar, Rajni, Missing, Rishtey, Sarhadein, Bandhan and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
Sudha Shivpuri's husband, Om Shivpuri died in 1990.
