Next Byomkesh Bakshi film from Arindam Sil is based on Amriter Mrityu

Waiting for another Byomkesh Bakshi film in Bengali? Here is the good news for Byomkesh fans. Films on detective Byomkesh is doing good box office business. Anjan Dutta started doing films on Byomkesh and now Arindam Sil is also getting interest in doing films on Byomkesh.

 Arindam’s first Byomkesh film Har Har Byomkesh is a hit movie and in his upcoming film, the director will keep his Byomkesh team intact with Abir Chatterjee, Sohini Sarkar and Ritwick Chakraborty.

Title of the film is yet to be decided.

Story of the film

Byomkesh and Ajit are on a government mission to find criminals. The criminals are exporting weapons from Dooars after the end of World War II. Ajit will have longer screen presence in this film and there is existence of Satyabati in the detective story but the director has decided to incorporate her character in the film as the character of Satyabati, played by Sohini is extremely popular. There will be extensive horse riding scenes and the director has decided to cast a real life jockey.

 Producer of the film is Shree Venkatesh Films and shooting of the film will start from mid June. Main shooting location will be Dooars in North Bengal.
