By birth Jeet is a Punjabi but he is the hero in Bengali films of new generation. Jeet is not only a Bengali films actor now, he is considered as Bengali actor. After completing his education, Jeet joined his family business. Being a creative minded, special attraction for films and dramas, Jeet could not restrict himself within his family business boundary.

Jeet had to struggle a lot to reach the position where he is now in Bengal film industry. Jeet started his career with modeling and from there gradually he shifted towards TV serials. Jeet moved to Mumbai to try his luck but it yields no result.  During that time Jeet was traveling between Mumbai and Kolkata like a shuttle of weaving machine. During that period, he acted in English drama, Telegu film but the desired result was not achieved.

Ultimately Jeet got the real break from Kolkata. In 2002 he got the offer in ‘Saathi’ a film directed by Haranath Chakraborty. Since then Jeet is a busy actor in Bengal film industry.
