Diwali is a special festival for Deepika Padukone and every year she enjoys the festival very much. Deepika celebrates the festival of lights with her family members. Name of Deepika herself is also related to light - deep means light. Deepika Padukone's sister is Aneesha which is a form of fire.
Deepika Padukone and all the other members of the Padukone family will celebrate the Diwali 2012 by performing Luxmi puja and enjoy home made foods. Padukone family members don’t believe in bursting crackers.
