Filmmaker
Premanshu Roy is making a Bengali film titled Gondho and famous Hindi film
character actor Raghubir Yadav is playing the main role in it. Story of the
film Gondho is based on the story of the novel ‘Deho Maner Gondho’ written by Syed
Mushtafa Siraj. Shooting of the film in
Purulia is over and now the shooting will start in Kolkata.
Story of the Bengali film Gondho
Railway
station master Nanda Babu is a middle class family man. His wife is Nilima.
Nanda Babu and Nilima have one daughter and a son. Daughter is Indrani – age 16
and son is 14 years old Indra. Nanda Babu is a true sense family man who loves
his family members and tries to spend more time with his family. Suddenly Nanda
Babu is transferred to Tamna railway station in Purulia. Tamna is situated in a
a remote area of Purulia. Tamna railway station has only four staffs including
Nanda Babu. Only two trains stops at Tamna station. Nanda Babu starts feeling
loneliness at Tamna.
Suddenly
Nanda Babu comes in contact with a flower seller girl – Sumi. Sumi is 16 years
old and from a poor family. Sumi can do anything for money. Sumi tries to
become intimate with nanda Babu but the middle aged station master finds his
daughter in Sumi.
