| Deepika in Happy New Year |
DeepikaPadukone, who is considered as the top actress of Bollywood right now made her
filmy debut seven years ago with Farah Khan-Shah Rukh Khan's 'Om Shanti Om'.
Upcoming film of Deepika Padukone 'Happy New Year' will be released on 24
October this year and this film too is a Farah Khan-Shah Rukh Khan project.
Deepika
Padukone is very much exicited about the film Happy New Year. Deepika Said: "'Happy
New Year' is a homecoming for me. The way they (Shah Rukh and Farah) made me
feel has brought back the memories of 'Om Shanti Om'. Even the way she calls me
'Baby' and I call her 'Maa'.
"Farah
takes certain liberty with me and so do I. The way we talk to each other is
special. In fact, a lot of time we would sit together and remember old times.
They are family."
In
the film Happy New Year, Deepika Padukone plays the role of a Marathi bar
dancer - Mohini Joshi. Mohini is the only earning member of her family.
