On 24 October 2014,
just a day after the Diwali, film Happy New Year will be released. The film is
going to be a Diwali Dhamaka. Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan combination has previously
gifted two superhit movies to audiences
- ‘Main Hoon Na’ and ‘Om Shanti Om’.

The story of film Happy New
Year is revolving around five Indian characters who are fighting on an
International dance floor. Other dancers are trying their best to uplift their national
pride and glory on the world stage but the Indian dancers are in the dancing competition
for totally different cause - revenge, retribution and closure. Initially they
have no confidence in its own dancing abilities and they are isolated from each
other but finally they become united and won the battle.
Dubai is used as the
backdrop of film Happy New Year.
