Story of film Piku

Film Piku is based on a family comedy drama in which Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone play the father and daughter characters. Deepika is a Bengali architect living in New Delhi, and Amitabh Bachchan plays her ageing father. Amitabh Bachchan is Bhashkar Banerjee is film Piku while Deepika is Piku. Bhashkar wants his daughter to remain close to her every time. Bhashkar and Piku take a road trip from Delhi to Kolkata, rather it can be said that Bhashkar emotionally blackmailed Piku for the journey. Irrfan Khan drives them towards Kolkata in a cab and the film is on the road journey which reveals many facts.
