One Liplock scene cut from film Bombay Velvet

Censor Board has cleared Anurag Kashyap’s film ‘Bombay Velvet’with a U/A certificate with a liplock scene cut from the movie. Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor and Karan Johar are the main actors in the film Bombay Velvet.

Earlier the censor board had refused to clear ‘Bombay Velvet’ with the UA certificate due to the abusive language, excessive violence and kissing scenes.

Actually there are three cuts in the film - two abusive language, ‘son of a bitch’ and ‘haramzada’. The third cut is a passionate kiss between Ranbir and Anushka Sharma.

Film Bombay Velvet will be released on May 15.
