Truth behind Pratyusha Banerjee’s death

What led Pratyusha to commit suicide is still unknown. Is it a case of suicide? The 24 years old rising actress died on 1 April 2016 and it is assumed that it is case of suicide. Police has taken Rahul Raj Singh into custody for interrogation.

According to reports, Pratyusha Banerjee’s  boyfriend and live-in partner Rahul Raj Singh has said that he left the house at 10.00 am and when he got back home at 4 pm, he saw Pratyusha hanging from the ceiling. Rahul further said that Pratyusha was fine at the time he left the house. Rahul Raj Singh’s statement as follows: "We used to stay in a 2 bedroom flat. We had two keys of which one key was with Pratyusha and another with me. When I entered the bedroom I found Pratyusha hanging to the ceiling. I got very scared. Immediately, I called the neighbours and with their help, I took her to Kokilaben hospital. We assumed that she was alive, but she was not. I got so scared that I did not inform the police. It was the hospital authorities who informed them. After the doctors' declaration, I called up Pratyusha's family members and few of our closed friends."

Police talked with their cook and watchman and came to know that Pratyusha and Rahul used to have frequent fights.

Police are recording the statement of Rahul in connection with the suicide. They are also checking the last call details and the SMSes exchanged between them.

Pratyusha Banerjee was reportedly facing problems in her relationship with Rahul Raj  Singh and the last message from the actress on Whatsapp read, "Marke bhi muh na tuzse modana."

Police are waiting for the post-mortem report, which will be available in the afternoon today and many truths may come out. Post-mortem report reveals 'suffocation' as cause of death so it is supposed to be a suicide case.
