Sonali Gupta is
a Bengali actress of 70’s and she is the daughter of the
famous Bengali Film director Dinen Guipta and actress Kajol Gupta. Sonali was
born in Kolkata in the year 1957. Sonali’s real name was Simanti and nick name
Bakul.
Sonali Gupta made her debut in the film Pratishruti, directed by her father Dinen Gupta. Other famous films of Sonali are Tapan Saha’s film Harmonium and Ek Je Chilo Desh. Sonali got moderate success in film industry. Sonali retired from film industry after marriage. She has one son and one daughter.
Sonali made her comeback with film in Sajarur Kanta in 2015 but since then she has not signed any new
film.
