'Maharshi' star actress Pooja Hegde was in the headlines for being caught by the police although Pooja's manager has denied and claimed them baseless.

Media reports were that Pooja Hegde was caught by the police as she was badly drunk during the pre-release event of her film. Report is that it happened on 1st May in Hyderabad, when the actress and her team went for a drive after the event and the police caught Pooja's driver and seized all the documents. Report also stated that to avoid further repercussion, Pooja Hegde was picked by another car.
Pooja Hegde's manager informed a media house that these rumours are absolutely baseless as according to him Pooja wouldn't dare to take the wheel in the city which is not familiar to her. Pooja's manager also said that film's production team had commissioned a car with a driver to drop her to the airport.
Post 'Maharshi', Pooja Hegde will be seen in the multi-starrer 'Housefull 4'.
