Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty will be seen again in a Bengali film of ‘Sahaj Pather Gappo’ fame Manas Mukul Pal's next film. After three years, Mithun is back in Tollywood.

Manas Mukul Pal's next film is a biopic on Bengali freedom fighter Dinesh Gupta. Mithun Chakraborty liked the script and agreed to be a part of the film. He just said: "Provide me with peace of mind to play the role," and that was his only condition.

Recently Mithun Chakraborty played a key role in film ‘The Tashkent Files’ directed by Vivek Agnihotri. This film is based on India's former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri's mysterious death. Mithun was seen as Shyam Sunder Tripathi in the film.
