Veteran singer actor Shakti Thakur is no more. Shakti Thakur died on Sunday night (04 October 2020) due to massive heart attack.
Shakti Thakur's elder daughter Mehuli shared the news on her social media handle. Shakti’s younger daughter Monali Thakur, she is also an actor and singer is still in Switzerland. Shakti Thakur was suffering from old age deseases and was under treatment. He breathed his last within a few hours of massive cardiac arrest.
Shakti Thakur featured in a number of Bengali films. He was known for his melodious voice. He had worked with ace actors like Utpal Dutt, Bikash Roy and others. Shakti Thakur acted in films like Dadar Kirti, Bhalibasha Bhalobash and many more. .
