On 7 November Rituparna Sengupta got the best birthday gift from Shiboprosad Mukhopadhyay. Rituparna Sengupta will be casted in next film of Shiboprosad and Nandita Roy, Ramdhanu. The film Ramdhanu is based on Bengali novelist Suchitra Bhattacharya's story, Ramdhanu Rang.

Story of the film Randhanu is based on the current education system. Rituparna Sengupta plays the role of a flamboyant games school teacher. Rituparna’s character is modelled on Aamir Khan from Taare Zameen Par.
