Goutam Ghosh is one of the most eminent filmmaker of West Bengal in recent times and now he is very much busy with his new Bengali film Shunnyo Onko. Shooting of the film shunnyo Onko is going on at Ayodhya Pahar in Purulia district of West Bengal. Bengali film Shunnyo Onko deals with tribal life and their dissatisfaction with the present system which leads to take up arms. Maoist angle naturally comes in the film but that is a part of the film.
Priyanshu and Konkona Sen Sharma are the two leading characters in the film Shunnyo Onko. Priyanshu Chatterjee plays the role of Agni in Shunnyo Onko and he goes to a tribal area in search of bauxite and from there tension mounts. Konkona Sen Sharma is playing the role of Jhilik who is a journalist.
Next film of Goutam Ghosh is Lala which is an Indo-Italian production. The film is in pre-production stage and the shooting of the film Lala will start on December 2012.
