Paoli Dam is in Mumbai for maximum time to get a proper break in Bollywood. Vikram Bhatt is planning a sequel of Hate Story but Paoli is not in the film. Rumour is that Paoli is not in the film Love Games also. Love Games is a film of Vikram Bhatt based on the issue of wife swapping. Anyway, Paoli Dam is getting better offers from Bengal film industry. Paoli Dam is all set to play the role of famous cabaret dancer — Miss Shefali in a film titled Cabaret Queen. The film will be directed by by Gulbahar Singh.
Paoli Dam will act in the role of sister in remake of famous Bengali film ‘Deep Jwele Jaai’. Saibal Mukherjee will be directing a contemporary version of the film. In Deep Jwele Jaai, Suchitra Sen played the role of the sister. The film was remade in Hindi as Khamoshi with Rajesh Khanna and Waheeda Rehman. In Deep Jwele Jaai Uttam Kumar was in the male lead role. This film is going to be a turning point in filmy career of Paoli Dam.
Few days ago another most talented actress in Bengali films, Raima Sen said in an interview that she would like to do Deep Jwele Jaai.
