Shrabanti Chatterjee is one of the fair looking actresses in Bengal film industry. Shrabanti Chatterjee has so far acted mostly in masala romantic love films but for the first time she will act under a director like Aparna Sen. Aparna Sen has casted Shrabanti Chatterjee in her upcoming Bengali film Goynar Baksho.
Shrabanti Chatterjee will play the role of Rashmoni, the younger age role of Moushumi Chatterjee. Shrabanti Chatterjee will be in double role, she will be in younger age role of Moushumi Chatterjee and daughter of Konkona Sen Sharma - Chaitali. Shrabanti Chatterjee will speak in East Bengal’s Bengali accecent in Rashmoni’s role and she has to smoke and ride a scooter in Chaitali’s role. Shrabanti Chatterjee is simply excited.
Shrabanti Chatterjee has gone through the script several times and asked her husband to buy the book Goynar Baksho written by Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay. The entire team of Goynar Baksho will be in a workshop and this will be Shrabanti Chatterjee’ s first workshop in filmy career.
