South actress Nayanthara rejected Bollywood offer to do an item number

Tamil actress Nayanthara was offered to do an item number sequence in Shah rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starer Hindi movie Chennai Express but the actress has turned down the offer.

The film Chennai Express is based on a journey of a man from Mumbai to Rameshwaram and all the experiences he gathers in his journey. The South Indian culture, places are very much present in the film and keeping this in mind the director offered the item number to popular South actress Nayanthara.
