Where are forgotten Bollywood stars of yesteryears? If we go
back 20 years from now, we will find Meenakshi Sheshadri, Kimi Katkar, Shilpa
Shirodkar, Anu Agarwal, Mamata Kulkarni, Rahul Roy, Vivek Mushran were among
the front liners in Bollywood film industry. All these faces are vanished from
the silver screen now and they are not even in touch with the media. How are
they? What they are doing now?

Meenakshi Sheshadri made her debut in Bollywood Hindi films
with Manoj Kumar’s Painter Babu in 1983. Meenakshi Sheshadri was different from
all other actresses of her time. Beauty of Meenakshi Sheshadri, disciplined
life style of Meenakshi Sheshadri charmed everybody. Minakshi was a good dancer
as well as good actress. Meenakshi Sheshadri’s acting career was of 13 years
and she has acted in super hit films like Hero, Damini, Shahenshah, Gayal and
many others. Film Ghatak in year 1996 is Meenakshi Sheshadri’s last film and
after that she never tried comeback in films.

Ashique. After the release of the film Anu Agarwal and Rahul Roy reached the
top of fame. The tragedy is that both Rahul and Anu could failed to utilize the
success of their first film. So far as Anu Agarwal is concerned, she took wrong
decision in selection of films afterwards and one after another flop pushed her
in backward direction. Anu’s own lifestyle was also responsible for her flop in
the industry. May be the educated actress made so many mistakes that she is now
living like a common woman.

In 1999, Anu Agarwal faced a fatal car accident and she was
in coma for 29 days. There are many rumours about the accident but the fact is
now Anu is leading a lonely life away from the tinsel world. It is heard that
Anu Agarwal is now residing at Munger in Bihar where she is working as an
instructor of a yoga school.

Shilpa Shirodkar
Marathi girl Shilpa Shirodkar has given many hit Bollywood
Hindi films like Kishan Kanaya, Khuda Gawah, Gopi KIshan and others. Shilpa
also acted in M.F.Hussain’s Gaja Gamini but after that film she married Apresh
Ranjit. They were in New Zealand and now they are settled in London. Presently
Shilpa is working in a TV serial in Mumbai.
