Rachel
White of film Har Har Byomkesh fame is again in Kolkata to shoot for Rick
Basu's debut directorial film Devi. Film Devi is based on Sarat Chandra
Chattopadhyay's classic, Devdas and Paoli Dam plays the role of Devi Banerjee,
felame version of Devdas.

White is very happy for getting a chance to act in Devi and said "I am happy that people liked by role in
HHB but I want to act in non-glamorous roles in the near future. As I am a
model, getting into the shoes of a glamorous character comes easy to me.
However, doing a de-glam role can be challenging for me and I really want to
explore that area."
In
the film Devi, Paoli Dam is addicted to drugs and the
Paoli Dam
film will begin with
30-40 cops in cars and a helicopter chasing Devi. The story of the film Devi
will be revealed in flashback.
