Rituparna Sengupta in film based on Sheena Bora murder case

Director Agnidev Chatterjee is all set to make a Bengali film on the Sheena Bora murder case and actress Rituparna Sengupta is in the role of Indrani Mukherjee.  Ritu is playing the lead role of the film which is inspired by the character is inspired by Indrani Mukherjee. The other actors for the role of Sheena Bora and Peter Mukherjee are yet to be decided.

Plot of the film based on Sheena Bora murder case

The main character in the film is a female, Ishani which is based on Indrani Mukherjee. The film starts with Ishani being taken into custody and the entire film is on her life in flashback through the interrogation process. How Ishani from a small town in Assam step by spet reached the position where she has huge money and power. The calculated steps of Ishani to reach her destination is focused in the film.

The films shows in flash back the life of Ishani from the age of 19 years. Different men came in the life of Ishani and the power and money hungry lady has utilised them to fullfill her dream.

Rituparna Sengupta will play the role of Ishani while is based on Indrani Mukherjee.
Kaushik Sen will be seen as Ishani's first husband, Siddhartha Das. The driver, Shyam Rai is an important character in the Sheena Bora murder case and Rajesh Sharma will play this character. Sabyasachi Chakraborty will play the role of Police Commissioner of Mumbai Rakesh Maria in the film. Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi may be seen in the role of Peter Mukherjee. Ria Sen may play the role of Sheena Bora. The untitled film will go the floors on 20 September and will be released on Diwali 2015 in three languages - English, Hindi and Bengali.
