Sunny Leone was not confortable with some scenes and dialogues in the film Mastizade and she asked the director and producer to make changes. Sunny said "When I read the script, there were certain things which I told Milap that I cannot do because I was not comfortable with the dialogues and scenes. The best thing was Milap and my producer (Rangita Pritish Nandy) were accommodating and they made changes in the script and discussed options with me."

Sunny Leone will be seen in a dual role of Lily and Laila in film Mastizade.  The actress said about the characters "Laila is the typical bombshell and outrageous character and Lily is the complete opposite. She is shy and conservative. Playing double role was not tough because the whole crew organised each day so nicely that everything went well. I never felt that I am doing something difficult."

National award-winning Malayalam actress Kalpana, 51 is no more. Kalpana died due to a heart attack at a hotel in Hyderabad in the morning of 15 January, Monday.

Kalpana was in Hyderabad for the shooting of a Telugu and a Tamil film. She had to attend the IIFA award function.

Kalpana made her filmy debut with film Pokkuveyil in 1981 and has acted in around 300 films.

Gradually the truth opens up and the journalist discovers that Nohor Baul was an active freedom fighter in the Liberation War of 1971. The baul was inspired by a young girl from a respectable family in Bangladesh and her name is Farida. Legendary dancer Mrinalini Sarabhai passes away at 97

Legendary bharatanatyam dancer and Padma Bhushan recipent Mrinalini Sarabhai passed away on 21 January 2016, Thursday morning at the age of 97. Mrinalini Sarabhai was wife of renowned Indian scientist Vikram Sarabhai. The legendary dancer is survived by her son, well known environmentalist Kartikeya Sarabhai and daughter renowned danseuse Mallika Sarabhai.

Mrinalini Sarabhai was a Malayali and her father was a barrister and her mother Ammu Swaminathan, was a social worker who was actively involved in the independence struggle. Mrinalini Sarabhai was educated at Shantiniketan under Rabindranath Tagore.

Mrinalini Sarabhai had been admitted to hospital on 20 January 2016 with infection.
