Srabanti Chatterjee and Krishan Viraj in Alipore Judges Court for Mutual Divorce

Finally Srabanti Chaterjee and Krishan Viraj appeared in Alipore Judges Court for mutual divorce. Both the actress and supermodel Krishan came in the Alipore Judges Court to file the mutual divorce petition. As per rule, they got six month time to alter their decision otherwise law will go ahead accordingly.

Bengali actress Srabanti Chatterjee and Krishan Viraj got married on July 20, 2018 but within 3-4 months of marriage troubles started. They were staying separately and finally decided to get mutual divorce. This was Srabanti's second marriage.


Srabanti Chatterjee came Alipore Judges Court with her parents. Srabanti Chatterjee and Krishan Viraj came out of the court room using two opposite side doors. Srabanti hurriedly approached towards her car and left the court compound.

Pakistani actress Veena Malik gets divorce

Pakistani actress Veena Malik has ended her marriage with Asad Khattak. Veena Malik is well known in India for her appearance in TV show Bigg Boss.

The court in Lahore accepted Veena's application for divorce and ruled in her favour after non-pursuance of the case by Asad Khattak. 

It is heard that Veena had filed a plea seeking divorce in the Lahore family court in first week of this January as the couple had developed differences and could not live together. Veena Malik is now willing to devote herself to studying Islam

The court had summoned Asad Khattak but he neither appeared nor filed a reply. On this, the court accepted Veena's plea and issued a decree last month validating divorce between the couple.

Veena and Asad got married in December 2013 in a court in Dubai and have two children, Abram (2) and Amal (1).

Bollywood actress Nandita Das and her producer-husband Subodh Maskara have decided to end their married life after seven long years of marriage. 

Actress Nandita Das has confirmed this news saying: “Yes, it is true. Subodh and I have decided to separate. Thankfully, it is very amicable. Our son is our foremost priority and as parents of a delightful and sensitive child we request that his and our privacy be respected. There’s nothing to hide and there’s nothing more to be said.”

Another celebrity break up news, actually break up of celebrity's daughter. Soundarya, legendary superstar Rajinikanth's daughter has filed for divorce.

Soundarya and Ashwin Ramkumar, an industrialist tied the knot on 3 September 2010 and they have a son named Ved, who was born on 6 May 2015. Soundarya has filed for divorce from husband Ashwin Ramkumarin the Chennai family court.

Soundarya herself has confirmed the news on Twitter: “News about my marriage is true. We have been separated for over a year & divorce talks are on. I request all to respect my family's privacy.”

Musician-actor Himesh Reshammiya is in hot news but not for his music or film, Himesh and his wife Komal have decided to end their married life of 22 years. The music composer have filed for divorce at the Bandra family court on 06 December 2016, Tuesday. It is learnt that Himesh and Komal had been staying separately for the last few months.

It is not a rumour and Himesh said that he and Komal decided to part ways amicably and that every member in the family respects their decision. Komal too stated that it was a mutual decision to seek divorce and that they will continue to be a part of each other's lives. Himesh and Komal has a son named Swayam, who they intend to co-parent.

The reason behind the couple's divorce is still not clear.

Yet another celebrity divorce but this time it is a Hollywood case. Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from Brad Pitt and this has been confirmed by the actress's lawyer.


Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been together since 2004 but they got married in August 2014. This was not the first marriage for both the Hollywood celebrities and Angelina is ahead of Brad Pitt so far as number of marriages is concerned. This was Brad's second and Angelina's third marriage.

The couple have six children together - Maddox, Pax, Zahara, who are adopted, and biological children Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne. Their children served as ring bearers at the wedding and helped illustrate Jolie's white dress with their drawings.

Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor and her husband Sunjay Kapur have ultimately reached an agreement after a long battle for separation before Supreme Court. Karisma will take custody of the children while Sunjay Kapur will get the visitation rights.

Another Bollywood separation. Director-actor-singer Farhan Akhtar, son of Javed Akhtar and Honey Irani and his wife Adhuna Akhtar have ended their 15 years married life. The reason behind the separation is unknown till now.

Recently there was speculations about their unhappy married life. Recently Farhan Akhtar's film 'Wazir' was released and Adhuna was not present.

The couple have officially announced the separation news in a media statement which read, "This is to announce that we, Adhuna and Farhan, have mutually and amicably decided to separate. Our children remain our priority and it is immensely important to us, as responsible parents, that they be protected from unwarranted speculation and public glare. We sincerely request that we are given the privacy that is required at this time to move forward in a dignified manner."

Divorce of Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan and his wife Sussanne Khan rocked the entire industry last year. It seems that the aftershock of the celebrity divorce is still continuing. This time another good-looking couple is reportedly set to part ways, Arjun Rampal and his supermodel wife Mehr  Jessia. It is learnt that they are heading for divorce by mutual consent.

It is learnt that Mehr Jessia has been consulting senior lawyer Mrunalini Deshmukh for some time now and Mrunalini Deshmukh is the same lawyer who was consulted by Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan.

Arjun and Mehr Jessia have been married for 17 years and the couple have two daughters, Mahikaa (13) and Myra (10).

In the event of Hrithik and Sussanne divorce, Arjun's name was surfaced due to his closeness to Sussanne  Khan although both of them denied it. Arjun and Sussanne relationship may be the cause of another Bollywood celebrity divorce.

Grigor Dimitrov said “Our paths split. We experienced wonderful moments together. I wish her much happiness and success in life and in tennis.Now I’m concentrated entirely on the game and I’m sure the results will soon be seen. This is the summer of the new beginning of me.”

At present, Dimitrov is ranked No. 16 in the ATP rankings.

Sharapova, 28, and Dimitrov, 24, started dating in 2012 and in 2013 the pair was spotted kissing on the streets of Madrid.

Hrithik Roshan and his wife Sussane were residing separately for so many months. Everyone in Bollywood knew that they will end their married life through divorce very soon and actually this is going to happen. Both Hrithik Roshan and Sussane announced their separation in December 2013 and now thay have officially filed for a divorce today at a family court in Bandra, Mumbai.

Both Hrithik Roshan and Sussane arrived at the court to file for a divorce with mutual consent without making any allegations against the other. The hearing of their divorce case will be on 31 October. It is to be seen that who  get the custody of their children, Hrehaan and Hridhaan.
