Rituparno Ghosh is dead

One of the most talented film makers in recent times, Rituparno Ghosh died at his residence today morning.He was 49 years old at the time of his death. Reports are saying that he was suffering from pancreatitis for some years. 

Rituparno Ghosh was born on 31 st August, 1963. His first film was 'Hirer Aangti' which was published in the year 1994. He got his first national award for the film, 'Subha Maharat'. in total, he bagged 12 national awards. the films which gave him national awards include Shob Charitra Kalpanik, Abahaman, Chitrangada, Chokher Bali, Dahan, Utsaav, Raincoat, The last Lier, Subha Maharat. Rituparno Ghosh got his last national award for the film Chitrangada starring Jishu Sengupta.

Dev and latest news about the film Chander Pahar

Recently Dev is back in Kolkata after a 28 day shooting for his upcoming film Chander Pahar in South Africa.

During this period, Dev was injured in shooting but right now he is all right. Tollywood heartthrob Dev is very much excited about his experience during this shooting. Dev had shooting with a python, he climbed rocks, surviving on hot dogs and many more. The film will be dubbed in both Bengali and English.

Dev admits that the shooting of Chander Pahar was tough and strenuous. Dev had to learnt all the required stunts. Dev further told that the Kalahari shooting part in Chander Pahar was extremely difficult as he had to wake up at 3.30 am and finish his breakfast by 4 am. Next food or water was supplied to Dev after the shooting of the day was over. This was done to protect the makeup during that shooting schedule. Dev told that the shooting areas were full of dangers like snakes, poisonous insects etc. Dev even shoot in a river full of crocodiles. Dev admits that on many occasions he wanted to go back to Kolkata as many shoots were realy life threatening. Dev had to stand on the edge of a cliff and he had a shooting with a 12 feet long python. Dev carried the python on his shoulder and the python was licking his ears.

She revealed that she had had a double mastectomy at Pink Lotus Breast Center so that she could reduce the chances of getting breast cancer-a life threatening disease that is supposed to be the cause of death of more than 458,000 women according to the World Health Organisation, mainly in the low and middle income group countries.

Angelina Jolie’s mother, Marcheline Bertrand, died at the age of 56 due to breast cancer and Jolie’s children never got the chance to see their “Mommy’s Mommy”. As this disease is inherited, Angelina Jolie too, is not an exception. She carries a faulty gene BRCA1 that increases the rate of breast cancer and in Angelina Jolie’s case, it’s around 87%.

After accepting this harsh reality, Angelina Jolie decided to face it and reduce the chances of the disease her mother suffered from and lost her life to. She completed the whole process of mastectomy on 27^th April, after a three months tough battle. This has been kept private by Angelina Jolie. Angelina Jolie also accepted that the decision to have mastectomy done was not easy but it was her close friends and Brad Pitt who were always there by her side and gave her mental support during the operation. Angelina Jolie also said that there is nothing that can make her feel uncomfortable after the operation, which has left behind only a few scars. As this was a personal note, Angelina Jolie admitted the fact that after doing it, she does not feel less of a woman.
