Veteran Bollywood actor Pran is still in hospital

Veteran actor Pran is hospitalized in Lilavati hospital in Bandra since 25 December 2012 and still he is in that hospital for treatment. The 92 year old actor’s health is not in order since last year. Family source said that the actor is now on his way to recovery as the health is improving.

Salman Khan in support of Kamal Haasan film Vishwaroopam

Salman Khan has extended his support for Kamal Haasan’s film Vishwaroopam. Salman appealed his fans to support Kamal Haasan. Film Vishwaroopam is banned from screening in Tamil Nadu as some Muslim groups claim that the film hits the sentiment of the community.

Salman Khan posted his opinion on the ban issue on twitter. Salman Khan’s opinion is that Vishwaroopam is a film and only the audiences can judge the film.

Previously Bollywood filmy personalities like Shah Rukh Khan, Mahesh Bhatt and Karan Johar have supported Kamal Haasan.

Troubles with film Vishwaroopam is continuing

Madras High Court again re-imposed ban on Kamal Haasan’s film Vishwaroopam. Previously single judge’s interim order allowed release of the film in Tamil Nadu.

The film Vishwaroopam was set to release on 25 January 2013 but due to objections from certain Muslim groups, the film is under ban. The same film is banned in Andhra Pradesh and Kerala.

Filmmaker Mohit Suri tied the knot with actress Udita Goswami at Juhu's ISKCON temple on Tuesday – 29 January 2013. Mohit and Udita were dating each other for last nine years.

Ban on film Vishwaroopam has been listed and the film is released in Tamil Nadu

After number of days of uncertainty, Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam is out of the ban in Tamil Nadu. The film Vishwaroopam is released in Tamil Nadu today. Filmy critics assume that the film has got sufficient free publicity to become a box office hit movie.

Today Madras High Court lifted the ban on the Rs. 95 crore film. Southern superstar Rajinikanth, Ajith Kumar, Parthepan, filmmaker Bharathiraja and producer Mukta Srinivasan earlier opposed the ban.

Vishwaroopam released in Karnataka

Kamal Haasan's controversial Tamil movie Vishwaroopam was released in Karnataka state. Screening of Vishwaroopam is going on in 40 theatres in the state, out of 40 – 17 are in Bangalore.

State police has assured security for screening the film Vishwaroopam. The film Vishwaroopam is facing a ban in Tamil Nadu due to its alleged anti-Muslim content.

Married life of Roopa Ganguly and the troubles she faced

In 1992, Roopa Ganguly tied the knot with Dhrubo Mukherjee, an Engineer. After marriage, according to Roopa Ganguly, Dhrubo started suffering from jealousy as Rupa’s fame as an actress was increasing. Dhrubo wanted Roopa to settle down in married life as a housewife. Roopa Ganguly tried her best to manage her married life. Roopa s first priority was her husband and after that she focused on her acting career – as said by Roopa Ganguly. 

Roopa tried to win the heart of her husband by doing all domestic works like a simple housewife. Roopa Ganguly left acting twice for the shake of her married life. At home Roopa never behaved like a celebrity but failed to reach her man. Dhrubo did not support Roopa from any angle – he denied financial support also which forced Roopa to make her comeback in films. Frustrated and fed-up Roopa Ganguly attempted suicide for three times. In 1997, Roopa delivered a son. After the birth of Akash – son of Roopa and Dhrubo, there was no change in Dhrubo’s attitude towards Roopa Ganguly.

From 2002, Roopa Ganguly started thinking about divorce but when she asked for divorce, Dhrubo used to apologise resulting a temporary patch up between the two.

In 2005, Roopa Ganguly finally told Dhrubo about her love with a young musician - Dibyendu. The marriage of Roopa Ganguly and Dhrubo broke in 2006. Dibyendu is 12 years younger than Roopa who is now 46. 

Presently Roopa Ganguly is residing in Mumbai with Dibyendu. Roopa and Dibyendu are not married although Dibyendu offered marriage proposal to Roopa but the actress is not willing to tie the knot again. Akash is with his father Dhrubo. Roopa Ganguly never tried for legal custody of her son Akash. May be still there is a soft corner for Dhrubo in Roopa’s mind.
