Tanusree will be seen in the role of Sunny's wife in the first Hindi film. Sunny means 'action'! According to sources, this will not be the case with this film. However, not only the hero, the heroine Tanusree can also be seen acting on the screen. Photo shooting is taking place in Jodhpur, Udaipur.

The journey of Bengali actors to Bollywood is not new. Jissu is working hard in Kolkata, Mumbai and all over the South. Saswata Chatterjee and Parambrata Chatterjee are regularly seen in Hindi films. Swastika is now a familiar face in one series after another. On the other hand, Abir Chatterjee's first Hindi series is about to be released. Tanusree is a new addition to that list.

Abir Chatterjee and Tanusree Chakraborty will be seen together in a thriller movie - Flat No 609, directed by Arindam Bhattacharya.

Plot of the film Flat No 609 is based on a newly married couple who are searching for flat at Rajarhat. The couple came in contact with a house broker and finally got a flat on rent but number of strange conditions are applied on them. Sometimes they have to close a certain door of the flat, sometimes the maid refused to come in work after noon time. The neighbors are also strange types. 

Abir Chatterjee is playing the role of an IT professional in film Flat No 609. Sohini is Abir's wife in the film. The other actors are Soumitra Chatterjee, Mamata Shankar, Kharaj Mukherjee, Rudranil Ghosh and others. 

Earlier Sohini Sarkar was supposed to do the lead female role but due to unknown reasons, she is out and Tanusree is the lead actress in the film.

The film will be released on 31 August 2018.

Bengali Film Ek Je Chhilo Raja and Story Cast & Crew

Srijit Mukherji’s next film Ek Je Chilo Raja is based on Bhawal Sanyasi case. Director Srijit Mukherjiis mainly depending on the book 'A Princely Impostor' written by Partha Chatterjee. The role of the Sanyasi Raja will be essayed out by Jisshu Sengupta and his wife’s role will be portrayed by Rajnandini Dutta, daughter of actress Indrani Dutta. Earlier a film based on the same story was made and the title of the film was Sanyasi Raja. Legendary actor Uttam Kumar played the role of the Raja.

Bengali actress Tanushree Chakraborty has been unwell for over a week and now she has been hospitalised with severe stomach infection. The actress was running high fever but owing to further complications in her health, she had to be admitted to a city hospital around 4.30 pm on 24 May 2017.

Tanushree Chakraborty dehydrated due to a lack of food, she has been put on intravenous medications to keep up the fluid levels in the body. "She has not had proper food in 7 days. She was nauseous and would end up puking almost everything. It was only this morning that she had some food — a small masala dosa and 2 egg whites," a sourced said.

As expected, a Bengali film will be made on the Robinson Street horror house. Director Rhitobrata Bhattacharya ready to represent the De family skeleton case in celluloid film.

Film director Mukul Roy Chaudhuri is all set to make a film on bar singer’s life. Earlier Mukul Roy Choudhury made a film titles Taan based water prostitutes. Rituparna Sengupta and Debolina Dutta were in the lead roles of the film Taan.

News is that Tanusree Chakraborty and Indraneil Sengupta will play the lead roles in the film although everything is in planning stage. The film is based on a triangular love story which shows the life a bar singer and how she gets involved with a promoter.
